Jackie Adkins

Jackie Dean Adkins, age 74, of Harold, Ky, passed away at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Ky on December 22, 2022. He was born on June 6, 1948, the son of the late Vault and Zola Adkins. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother Gary Adkins. Before his retirement, Jackie worked for American Electric Power (AEP) and was a member of the Coal Run Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Tibbs Adkins, by a daughter, Denean (Chris) Case, by a sister, Mickey Adkins, by a brother, Chris Adkins, by two grandchildren, Chelsea (Zack) Taylor and Lily (Austin) Willoughby, by three great-grandchildren, Macy Taylor, Maverick Taylor and Mac Taylor and by a host of family and friends who will miss him and loved him dearly. Visitation will be held on Monday, December, 26, 2022, after 6 PM at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, at 1 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Coal Run Church of Christ Ministers officiating.
