Jackie Gibson

    Jackie Gail Gibson, age 74, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Phelps, Ky.   Gail was born on March 26, 1945 to her parents the late Alvie Coleman and Quinnie Chaney Coleman.  Gail was the wife of the late William Rouge Gibson, a homemaker, and a believer of the Christian Faith.      Along with her husband and parents, Gail was preceded in death by one son, William Edward Gibson, one brother, Glade Taylor, one grandson, William Gregory Gibson.       Gail is survived by one son, Shannon Gibson, two daughters, Donna (Virgil) Tackett, Kim (Chris) Reynolds, four brothers, Mike Coleman, Paul Ed Coleman, John Wayne Taylor, Timothy Coleman, three sisters, Gaynell Slone, Margaret James, Mary Jo Thacker, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.     Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Friday at 7p.m. with Caney Creek Freewill Baptist Ministers officiating.  Church services will be Saturday at 7p.m. with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating.  The funeral will be Sunday, Nov. 10, 2019 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Caney Creek Freewill Baptist Ministers officiating.  Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
