James Orville Estep

James Orville Estep Jr., age 61, passed away Monday, Sept. 5, 2023 at his home. James was born on Nov. 7, 1961 to his parents the late Orville Estep and Sarah Catherine Caudill Estep. He was the husband of Joann Estep ,and a retired coal miner and truck driver for Clyde Bentley Trucking. Along with his parents, James was preceded in death by one brother, Dickie Estep. Along with his wife, James is survived by three daughters, Alisha (Casey) Hamilton, Kelly (Allen Sizemore) Burkhart, Heather Estep, one step daughter, Angela (Billy) Jones, one sister, Kathy Estep, three brothers, Bobby Estep, Jackie (Doris) Estep, Billy Smallwood, seven grandchildren, a host of loving nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday and Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Friday Sept. 8, 2023 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Neil Coleman and Roger Bartley officiating. Burial will follow in the Estep Cemetery on Three Mile.
