James Sterling Reynolds, age 62, passed away September 6, 2018 at his residence. James was born in Pike County, Kentucky to his parents the late Jay Reynolds and Draxie Newsome Reynolds. James Sterling Reynolds was the husband of Lou Ann Reynolds. James was a retired employee from the Coca Cola Bottling Company, a minister at the Calvary Freewill Baptist Church on Indian Creek and a member of the Calvary Freewill Baptist Church. James was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Homer Reynolds, four sisters, Nadine Bowling, Maxine Hamilton, Maggie Damron, and Dicy Newsome.James is survived by his wife, Lou Ann, one son, Jacob Reynolds (Marlena), one daughter, Daphne Kilgore (Timothy). James is survived by one brother, Pomerine Reynolds, three sisters, Oma Faye Hamilton (Jay), Joyce McCoy, and Cissy Sexton.James is survived by five grandchildren, Cody Kilgore, Bryant Kilgore, Addi Kilgore, Olivia Reynolds and Marina Reynolds and a host of loving family and friends.Visitation will be Saturday, 5:00 PM, September 8, 2018, at the Calvary Freewill Baptist Church on Indian Creek.Visitation will be Sunday, September 9, 2018 at the Calvary Freewill Baptist Church on Indian Creek. Church services each night at 7:00 PM.Funeral will Monday, September 10, 2018, 12:00 Noon, at the Calvary Freewill Baptist Church with Doug Tackett, James Dotson and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Newsome Branch Cemetery on Penny Road.
