James Benford Yates

James Benford Yates, age 65, passed away Friday, October 28, 2022 at the Pikeville Medical Center. James was born on October 19, 1957 to his parents the late Benford Yates and Mary Ellen Webb Yates. James was a retired coal miner. Along with his parents, James was preceded in death by one son, James Allen Yates, and one sister, Kelly Cole. James is survived by one son, Anthony (Tina) Yates, Vanessa (Charlie) Leedy, six grandchildren, a brother, Phillip Yates, a sister, Darlene (Tony). Chapman and a host of loving family and friends. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
