Janet Belcher Smallwood

Janet Belcher Smallwood, age 60, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024 at her home.  Janet was born on April 12, 1964 to her parents the late Alfred Belcher Sr. and Margaret Mullins Belcher.  She was the wife of Tim Smallwood, a clinical psychologist for Bluegrass Mental Health in Paris, Ky., and a believer of the Baptist Faith.

    Along with her parents, Janet was preceded in death by one sister, Joyce Belcher.

     Along with her husband, Janet is survived by one son, Timothy Brad Smallwood Jr., one sister, Vicky Belcher White, one brother, Alfred (Lisa) Belcher Jr., a host of loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.

     Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Sunday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Monday, October 14, 2024 at 11 A.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Randy May and others officiating.   Burial will follow in the Alfred Belcher Cemetery at Dorton.
