Jerry Ronald Stanley

Jerry Ronald Stanley, age 82, passed away Monday, January 13, 2020 at Pikeville Medical Center  Jerry was born on Feb. 3, 1937 to his parents the late Kenneth Lawrence Stanley and Earthlee Davis Stanley.  He was the husband of Pearlene Stanley.  Jerry was the manager at Watsons Department Store for over 44 years, and a believer of the Church of Christ Faith.      Along with his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Stanley, two grandchildren, Matthew Stanley and Adam Wayne Stanley.      Along with his wife, Jerry is survived by three sons, Roy Neal (Tina) Stanley, Larry Wayne (Ann) Stanley, James Robert Stanley, two step sons, William Gregory (Diana) Friend, Dwayne Edward (Tiffany) Friend, one sister, Helen Vanover, one brother, Thomas (Betty) Stanley, seventeen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.      Visitation will be Tuesday and Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  The funeral will be Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 1 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Church of Christ Ministers officiating.  Burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park at Pikeville.
