Jewel Elkins

   Jewel Elkins, age 95, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at the Parkview Nursing Home.  Jewel was born on August 22, 1924 to her parents the late Landon Phillips and Molly Rasnick Phillips.  She was the wife of the late Estil Elkins, a homemaker, and a member of the Old Elkhorn Regular Baptist Church.      Along with her husband and parents, Jewel was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.      Jewel is survived by two sons, Oscar (Mary) Elkins, Keevin (Jody) Elkins, one daughter, Kyna Jabr, seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.      Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with church services at 7p.m   The funeral will be Sunday, January 26, 2020 at 1p.m. at the Old Elkhorn Regular Baptist Church with Charles Nitchie and others officiating.  Burial will follow in the Rob Ratliff Cemetery at Elkhorn Creek.
