Jimper Sturgill

    Jimper D. Sturgill, age 77, of Robinson Creek, passed away Monday, March 18, 2024 at his home.  Jimper was born on January 12, 1947 to his parents the late Jack Sturgill and Geneva Ratliff Sturgill.  He was the husband of the late Nedra Justice Sturgill, a retired school teacher from Millard High School , where he taught for over 28 years, and a believer of the Baptist Faith.
     Along with his wife and parents, Jimper was preceded in death by one infant son, Eric Ross Sturgill.
     Jimper is survived by two sons, Jon Shelton (Teresa) Sturgill, Brandon Scott Sturgill, one brother, David A. Sturgill, two sisters, Jackie Giovannelli, Dale (Guy) Slone, one grandson, Jonathan Ross Sturgill, and a host of loving family and friends.
     Visitation will be Saturday at 10 A.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  The funeral will be Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 11 A.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Morgan Chapman officiating.  Burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park.
