John Webb

John Dee Webb, age 92, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2018 at the Pikeville Medical Center.   He was born on January 4, 1926 to his parents the late Condor Webb and Sadie Reed Webb.   He was the husband of the late Eula Tudel Tackett Webb, retired district supervisor for Ky WV Gas Company, and a member of the Masonic Lodge.   He was a member of the Church of Christ and he also served his country honorably in the United States Air Force during World War II.      Along with his wife and parents, John was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Lynn Webb, three brothers, Haskel, Billy, and Clifton Webb, and three sisters, Ethel Young, Lucille Lowe, Gracie Morrison.      John is survived by one son, John K. (Thuy) Webb. two brothers, Dorris Webb, Ronnie Webb, two sisters, Mary Ruth Webb Maynard, Marcella Webb Stanley, two grandchildren, John L. Webb, Kaitlyn Webb, and a host of loving family and friends.      Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Thursday and Friday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Shawn Slone officiating.  Burial will follow in the Frank Tackett Cemetery at Long Fork.
