Juanita Adkins

Juanita Denise Bolden Adkins, age 66, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2020 at her home in Ford's Branch. Juanita was born on January 20, 1954 to her parents the late Auda Bolden and Ada Justice Bolden. She was the wife of Bobby L. Adkins, a retired baker at Wal-Mart Bakery, and a believer of the Christian Faith. Along with her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Darnell Adkins, two brothers, Roger and Dempsey Bolden, two sisters, Augustine Bryant, Bertha Loretta Adkins, and one great granddaughter, Summer Paige Ratliff. Along with her husband, Bobby, Juanita is survived by one daughter, Tonya (Kent) Kidd, three brothers, Auda Bolden Jr., Donald Paul Bolden, Delmer Ray Bolden, five sisters, Geneva Coleman, Patty Maynard, Audrey Lanthrop, Lottie Slone, Josephine Harris, three grandchildren, Keaton Bobby James Kidd, Samantha Ratliff, Evelyn Cerniglia, five great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Sunday and Monday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Dan Adkins Cemetery at Ford's Branch.
