Justine Ray

Justine Ray, age 90, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Ky.  Justine was born on June 20, 1928 to her parents the late Archie Ray and Cora Lee Ray.  Justine was the wife of the late Cecil Ray, a homemaker, and a believer of the Old Regular Baptist Faith.    Along with her husband and parents, Justine was preceded in death by two brothers and six sisters, two grandsons, Jeff and Michael Ray.    Justine is survived by two daughters, Patty Hamilton, Sharlene (Roy) Fields, two sons, Carl Ray, Lowell Ray, six grandchildren, Stephanie, Timothy, Jason, Mark, Danny, Shawn, eight great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.       Visitation will be Sunday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Sunday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Monday, October 29, 2018 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating.  Burial will follow in the Sword Family Cemetery at Island Creek.
