Kathy Thacker

Kathy Thacker, age 69, passed away March 8, 2025, at the Pikeville Nursing and Rehab facility.  Kathy was born on January 5, 1956 to her parents the late John Justice and Ruby Derossett Justice.  She was the wife of the late Jackie Thacker, a retired secretary/office mgr. for Signature Health Care Center, and a member of the Caney Freewill Baptist Church.

    Along with her husband and parents, Kathy was preceded in death by one brother, John Harold Justice, one sister, Mary Gibson.

     Kathy is survived by two brothers, Larry Justice, Billy Ray (Patty) Justice, nephews:  Billy Shane Justice, Johnny Justice, Mike Justice, Josiah Kerns, nieces:  Amy Justice, Star Justice, Gabriella Justice, Allie Spourse, and a host of loving family and friends.

    Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Tuesday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 12 Noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Jimmy Jack Adkins officiating.  Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery at Shelbiana.
