Kenneth R. Ellis

    Kenneth R. Ellis, age 64, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2025 at the Highlands ARH Medical Center in Prestonsburg, Ky.  Kenneth was born on April 16, 1960 to his parents the late Edward Ellis and Easter Ray Ellis.  He was the husband of Debbie Hunter, and a retired mechanic and truck driver.  

     Along with his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by one brother, Kyle Ellis.

     Along with his wife, Kenneth is survived by one son, Milton Edward (Darlene) Ellis, one step son, Shaun Hunter, step daughter, Amanda (Jason) Hamilton, one sister, Connie Ruth Ellis, special childhood friend thats like a brother, Alvin Gross, two grandchildren, Johaunna Ellis, Shane Ellis, six step grandchildren, Gavin and Zack Hamilton, Kailin Hunter, Skie Hunter, Jade Hunter, Mason Hunter, and a host of loving family and friends.

     Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Wednesday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Tommy England officiating.  Burial will follow in the K.R. Ellis Family Cemetery.
