Kerry Lee Keene

November 6, 1962 — March 20, 2024

Kerry Lee "Bo" Keene, age 61, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at the Pikeville Medical Center. Bo was born on Nov. 6, 1962 to his parents the late Joe Keene and Jacqueline Adkins Keene. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for Arch Coal Company and a member of the Dorton United Methodist Church. He worked several years as the manager at Jerry's Restaurant in Pikeville.
Along with his parents, Bo was preceded in death by two brothers Joe Keene Jr. and Terry Wayne Keene, one sister, Deborah Keene, and one nephew, Joe Keene III.
Bo is survived by two sisters, Sherry Keene, Patsy Denise Keene, three brothers, Jim Keene, Paul David (Jessica) Keene, William Keene, two nieces, Angela Keene and Karra Tackett, and five nephews, Brad Keene, Billy Keene, Terry Keene, Garrett Keene, Ethan Keene, and a host of loving family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday and Saturday at 6p.m. at the Dorton United Methodist Church. Church services will be Friday and Saturday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday, March 24, 2024 at 11 A.M. at the Dorton United Methodist Church with Johnny Vanover and Jimmy Jack Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Keene Family Cemetery at Greasy Creek.
