Lanny Ross Damron

Lanny Ross Damron, age 67, passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Hazard ARH. He was born on October 3, 1954, the son of the late Ross Terence and Dixie Lee Coleman Damron. Before his retirement, Lanny worked for the Kentucky Department of Transportation as a right of way agent. He proudly served his country with the United States Army. Lanny is survived by a daughter, Lana Eileen MacDonald, by three grandchildren, Lillian Marie MacDonald, Emily Rose MacDonald and Connor Timothy MacDonald, by his companion, Johanna Maiden, by two sisters, Lynnetta Turner and Loretta Holbrook, two brothers, Larry Damron and Joel Damron, and a host of loving family and friends who love him and will miss him dearly. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021 after 6 PM at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 12 Noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Daniel Ratliff officiating. Special services will be held on Monday night at 7 pm
