Larry Wayne Rutherford

Larry Wayne Rutherford, age 64, of Robinson Creek, KY passed away on March 11, 2022, at the Pikeville Medical Center. Larry was born in Pike County, Ky., on August 19, 1957, to his parents the late Jacqueline Looney Venters and Freddy Rutherford. Larry was the husband of Walterene Rutherford and was of the Freewill Baptist Faith. Larry worked as a Pikeville City Policeman before becoming disabled. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Larry Wayne Rutherford, Jr., a sister Janet R. Tuttle. Larry is survived by his wife Walterene Rutherford, a daughter, Lora Adkins (Duran), two brothers, Freddie Rutherford, Jr. (Lori), Charles "Chuck" Venters, Jr., two grandchildren, Ellanor Loraine Adkins, Malakhi Duran Adkins and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, March 13, 2022, 6:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Funeral will be Monday, March 14, 2022, 2:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Holmes officiating.
