Lawrence Kendrick

Lawrence Kendrick, age 67, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Lawrence was born on July 25, 1955 to his parents the late David Kendrick and Victoria Thacker Kendrick. He was the husband of Karen Newsome Kendrick, a retired coal miner, and a believer of the Christian Faith. Along with his parents, Lawrence was preceded in death by five brothers and six sisters. Along with his wife, Lawrence is survived by one son, Larry "Bo" Kendrick, four daughters, Kayla Bartley, Breanna (Aaron) Mullins, Lindsey Kendrick, Shana (Calvin) Cline, two brothers, Lank Kendrick, Jonah Kendrick, one sister, Gracie Fitzpatrick, eight grandchildren, Arabella, Harper, Easton, Gavin, Callie, Asher, Cayden, Avery, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Friday and Saturday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday, October 30, 2022 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Paul Coleman and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery at Shelbiana, Ky.
