Lena Dixon

Lena Dixon, age 80, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at the Pikeville Medical Center.  Lena was born on April 6, 1938 to her parents the late Walter Stone Sr. and Lacie Abshire Stone Blankenship.  She was the wife of the late Vernon Dixon, retired from Ames Department Store, and a member of the Church of God MPG & T.  Along with her husband and parents, Lena was preceded in death by one son, Douglas Doyle Dixon and one brother, Phillip Ray Blankenship.Lena is survived by two daughters, Pamela Dixon, Debra Chapman, two brothers, Walter (Vickie) Stone Jr., Gary Randall (Carolyn) Blankenship, one sister, Sandra Lynn (Mike) Stinar, eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.    Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Thursday and Friday.  The funeral will be Saturday November 3, 2018 at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home at 1p.m. with Douglas E. Stevens Jr., Jason Johnson, and Will Stepp officiating.  Burial will follow in the Dixon Cemetery at Joe's Creek.
