Leonard Ray Hamilton

December 2, 1979 — June 8, 2021

Leonard Ray Hamilton, age 41, of Myrtle, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, June 8, 2021. He was born on Dec. 2, 1979 to his parents, Hobart and Nancy Hamilton. Leonard was the husband of Judy Podunavac Hamilton, a former service man for Logan Water Care, and a member of the Turkey Creek Old Regular Baptist Church. He was a 1998 graduate of Tug Valley High School and he enjoyed basketball, family, friends, church, and his pride and joy was his children, Nathaniel Chase Hamilton and Kiara Rae Hamilton, and his granddaughter, Rhylee Hamilton. Leonard was full of life and had the biggest heart of anyone around. Leonard was preceded in death by one son, Scott Lee Hamilton, and his paternal grandparents, Stella and Lee Hamilton. Along with his wife, his parents, children and grandchild, Leonard is survived by his maternal grandmother: Madeline Sarver, two brothers, Ronald Lee (Tammy) Hamilton and Robert Scott (Sabrina) Hamilton, and a host of very special nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. Although he's gone his memory will live with us forever. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Turkey Creek Old Regular Baptist Church. Church services will be Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 2p.m. at the Turkey Creek Old Regular Baptist Church with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Reed Cemetery at Turkey Creek.
