Leonard Dwayne McCary

Leonard Dwayne McCary, age 50 of Elkhorn City, Ky, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center, Hazard, Ky.  Leonard was born in Pike County, on September 5, 1967 to his parents Ella McCary and the late Leonard B. McCary. Leonard was disabled and a member of the Poor Bottom Freewill Baptist Church. Leonard was preceded in death by his father and on brother Greg McCary. Leonard is survived by his mother Ella McCary, one son Bradley (Heather) Kiser, one daughter Amanda (Mitchell) Lowe and one sister Cynthia (Greg) Napier. Leonard is survived by three grandchildren, Khaleesi Kiser, Adelyn Lowe, Aidan Lowe and a host of loving family and friends.Visitation will be Friday, April 20, 2018, 6:00 PM  at the Poor Bottom Freewill Baptist Church. Evening service will be Friday and Saturday night at 7:00 PM. Funeral will be Sunday, April 22, 2018, 2:00 PM at the Poor Bottom Freewill Baptist Church with Richard Gibson officiating. Burial will follow at the Annie E. Young Cemetery, Shelbiana, Ky.
