Linda Fields

Linda Fields, age 61, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Linda was born on Feb. 25, 1961 to her parents the late Foster Newsome and Dorothy Hall Newsome. She was the wife of the late Wade Fields and a homemaker. Along with her husband and parents, Linda was preceded in death by five brothers, Jackie, Dazzie, Shannon, David, and Bobby Gene Newsome. Linda is survived by two sons, Josh (Angie) Fields, Kevin (Shaina) Fields, two grandchildren, Macie-Leigh Fields, Brynlee Fields, two brothers, Darrell Newsome, Michael Newsome, three sisters, Bernice Collins, Denise Hunter, Carol Sue Webb, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Island Creek Old Regular Baptist Church. Church services will be Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 12 noon at the Island Creek Old Regular Baptist Church with Danny Hamilton and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Fields Cemetery at Island Creek.
