Linda Joyce Hughes

     Linda Joyce Hughes, age 77, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024 at the Pikeville Medical Center.  Linda was born on Sept. 15, 1946 to her parents the late Charles Coleman and Bertha Coleman.   She was the wife of the late Gary "Whick" Hughes, retired from Lowe's Home Improvement as Nursery Specialist, and a member of the Unity Freewill Bapitst Church.
      Along with her husband and parents, Linda was preceded in death by three sisters, Patsy Corner, Lillene Damron, Lillian Coleman, five brothers, Herbert, Everett, Levi, Harry, & Doug Coleman.  
     Linda is survived by two sons, Todd (Lisa) Hughes, Dougie (Natasha) Hughes, one sister, Betty Jo Miller, four grandchildren, Denisha (Zack) Stacy, Karleigh Hughes, Garrin Hughes, Alexis (Blake) King, one great grandchild, Daphne King, and a host of loving family and friends.
     Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Unity Freewill Baptist Church.  Church services will be Friday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 11 A.M. at the Unity Freewill Baptist Church with Mike Coleman, Tony Adkins, and others officiating.  Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
