Lloyd Franklin Carroll

   Lloyd Franklin Carroll, age 54, of Greasy Creek, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at the U.K. Medical Center.  He was born on October 29, 1969 to his parents Brenda Hopkins Carroll and the late Curtis Caroll.  He was the husband of Angela Thacker Carroll, a coal miner, and a member of the Ratliff Old Regular Baptist Church.
     Along with wife and mother, Lloyd is survived by two daughters, Samantha (Casey) Tackett, Megan (Phillip) Hughes, one son, Jacob (Kaytlyn) Carroll, three sisters, Jowanda (Jamie) Chapman, Candy (Steve) Varney, Sandy (Randy) Morgan, eight grandchildren, Caden, Jarrett, Lucas, Adalyn, Chaseton, Ava, Willow, and Kamryn, and a host of loving family and friends.
     Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Friday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 1 P.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Jim Justice and others officiating.  Burial will follow in the Adkins Cemetery at Greasy Creek.
