Lockie Little

Lockie Workman Little, age 87, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Lockie was born on April 23, 1934 to her parents the late Lon Workman and Ann Gibson Workman. She was the wife of the late Stanley Little, a homemaker, and a believer of the Church of God Faith. Along with her husband and parents, Lockie was preceded in death by one step daughter, Mary Jean Little Jones, three brothers, John Thomas, Leonard, and Robert Workman, and three sisters, Pauline Workman Wallace, Esta Mae Smith, and Irene Gayheart. Lockie is survived by five children, Stanley (Melissa) Little Jr., Betty Jean Little Blackburn, Samantha (David) Little Amott, Serina (Brian) Little Joines, Princess Ann (Kenny) Little Sampson, one sister, Betty Workman Daniels, fifteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Thursday and Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 1 P.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Randy Damron officiating. Burial will follow in the Newsome Branch Cemetery at Penny Road.
