Lonnie Kay Osborne 78, passed away on May 18, 2024, at the Pikeville Medical Center. Lonnie was born on July 26, 1945, to the late Walter Thomas Osborne and Loraine Hopson Osborne. He was the husband of Lois Bevins Osborne. Lonnie was a Founder of the Trust Department of Community Trust Bank, Co-founder, along with his brother Kenneth Osborne, of WZLK, Retired Pike County PVA Officer and a founding member of Pinnacle Bank. Lonnie, his father and brother did the first cable system in Pike County. Lonnie was a Past Master of the Thomas C. Cecil Masonic Lodge # 375, a member of the Royal Order of Jesters and a Shriner.
Along with his parents Lonnie was preceded in death by his brother Kenneth Wray Osborne.
Along with his wife, Lonnie is survived by one daughter Alison Kay (Michael) Velasquez, one son Thomas E. (Neal) Osborne-Owens, one sister Walterene Rutherford, five grandchildren, Ariana Velasquez (Adam) Strider, Brennan Michael Velasquez, Thomas Zane Osborne-Owens, Emily Jean Osborne-Owens, Lilly Kay Osborne-Owens and a host of loving family and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday and Thursday at 6 PM at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. A Masonic service will be held Wednesday at 6:30 PM. The funeral service will be Friday May 24, 2024, at 2 PM at Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Annie E. Young Cemetery at Shelbiana, Ky.
