Lonnie Thacker

Lonnie Jim Thacker, age 61, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018 at the Pikeville Medical Center.   Lonnie was born on April 8, 1957 to his parents the late Ruey Thacker and Bertha Arminia Thacker.  He was the husband of the late Debra Robinson Thacker, and a retired employee for Mountain Water.    Along with his wife and parents, Lonnie was preceded in death by four brothers Billy, Eugene, and Jerry Marr Thacker, and one sister, Velma Kinney.    Lonnie is  survived by one daughter, Bertha (Kenneth) Pugh, two brothers, Howard Thacker, Lawson Thacker, one grandchild, Izaiah (Lil'Buddy) Pugh, and a host of loving family and friends.    Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Tuesday and Wednesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Hope Freewill Baptist ministers officiating.  Burial will follow in the R.H. Ratliff Cemetery at Shelbiana.
