Loretta Bertha Adkins

Loretta Bertha Adkins, age 62, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at the Pikeville Medical Center.  Loretta was born on May 31, 1956 to her parents the late Auda Bolden and Ada Justice Bolden.  She was the wife of Benny Lee Adkins, a homemaker, and a believer of the Old Regular Baptist Faith.     Along with her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by one brother, Dempsey Bolden, and one sister, Augustine Bryant.     Along with her husband, Loretta is survived by three daughters, Irene (Wesley) Fleming, Ada (William) Compton, Leah (Terry) Traylor, four brothers, Auda Bolden Jr., Delmer Ray Bolden, Donald Paul Bolden, Roger Bolden, six sisters, Juanita Adkins, Patty Maynard, Josephine Harris, Geneva Coleman, Audrey Lathrop, Lottie Slone, eight grandchildren, Dottie, LaResha, LeAnn, Kacie, Chasity, Terry, Whitney, & Summer, and three great grandchildren, Natalee, Jackson, and Hunter, and a host of loving family and friends.    Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Friday at 7p.m.   The funeral will be Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Vernon Damron and others officiating.   Burial will follow in the Dan Adkins Cemetery at Ford's Branch.
