Lou Ramsey

     Lou Ramsey, age 78, passed away Tuesday,June 11, 2024 at the Pikeville Medical Center.  Lou was born on Dec. 13, 1945 to her parents the late Tandy Howell and Doshie Adams Howell.  She was the wife of Homer Ramsey, a homemaker, and a believer of the Old Regular Baptist Faith.
     Along with her parents, Lou was preceded in death by one son, Tandy Thomas Ramsey, three grandchildren, Daneil Kazz Ramsey and Tayson Estep,  Jimmy Mullins, and several brothers and sisters.
     Along with her husband, Lou is survived by two sons, Larry Joe Ramsey, Daniel Ramsey, one daughter, Amanda Ramsey, seven grandchildren, Joey Lee Ramsey, Samantha Jo Blackburn, Jordan Joe Ramsey, Tandra Renee Estep, Cody Thomas Ramsey, Kacie Danielle Ramsey, Heather LaShae Ramsey, seventeen great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.
     Visitation will be Wednesday and Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Wednesday and Thursday at 7p.m.   The funeral will be Friday, June 14, 2024 at 1 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Mitchie Paul Coleman, Jason Adkins, Harvella Adkins, James Hamilton, and others officiating.  Burial will follow in the Howell Cemetery at Coon Branch.
