Louvina Ratliff, age 84, passed away Friday, May 19, 2023, at the Pikeville Medical Center. Louvina was born in Pike County, Ky. on October 8, 1938 to her parents the late Ruie P. Coleman and Anna Charles Coleman. Louvina was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God In Jesus Name. She was also a member of the Best Friends Club. Louvina was the wife of Teddy Ratliff. Louvina was preceded in death by her parents, her second husband, Robert Dompke in April 2001. She was preceded in death by an infant grandson, Cameron Collins, a son, Michael A. Dean, son in law, Edward Meyer, brother in law, Virgil Neace. Also preceded in death by four brothers, Lonnie L. Coleman, Melvin Coleman, Ruie Coleman, Johnny Coleman, two sisters, Connie Bentley and Lois Banks. Louvina is survived by her husband, Teddy Ratliff, four daughters, Louann Reynolds (Matt), Helen Harmon (Kevin), Connie Meyer, Tammy Bowman (James), and brother, Tony Coleman (Jewell), two sisters, Sylvia Neace, Mae Sanders (Bill), twelve grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and two great great grandchilden. and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday, 6:00 PM, May 22, 2023, at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with special singing. Church services will be held Tuesday, 7:00 PM, May 23, 2023, at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Funeral will be Wednesday, 12:00 Noon, May 24, 2023, at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Jimmy Jack Adkins and Jimmy Reed Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Coleman Family Cemetery on Greasy Creek, Pikeville, KY.
