Lowell Mullins

Lowell R. Mullins, age 76, passed away Friday, Feb. 22, 2019 at the Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, Ky.  Lowell was born on Nov. 2, 1942 to his parents the late Fonso Mullins and Verna Smallwood Mullins.  He was the husband of Rissie Helton Mullins and a computer analyst for Ashland Oil Company.     Along with his parents, Lowell was preceded in death by one son, Triston Mullins and three brothers.      Along with his wife, Lowell is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Toler, one brother, Stoney Mullins, three sisters, Regis Lynn Mattingly, Gail Reed, Sherry Bundy, two grandchildren, Joshua Howard, Gina Jones, one great grandchild, Emily Howard, and a host of loving family and friends.     Visitation will be Tuesday from 3p.m. to 8p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  The funeral will be Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2019 at 11:30a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Mullins Family Cemetery at Dorton, KY.    In Lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Baptist Health Foundation in Lexington (Brain Cancer Research) or Ronald McDonald House Charities P.O. box 22414 Lexington, Ky. 40522
