    Mabel Helen Mullins Tucker, age 93, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at her home. Mabel was born on December 30, 1930 to her parents the late Palmer Mullins and Bessie Kilgore Mullins.  She was the wife of the late Virgil Tucker, a retired seamstress, and a member of the Church of The Great I Am.  She loved to do puzzle books, puzzles, and gardening.

      Along with her husband and parents, Mabel was preceded in death by one son, Steve Tucker, three brothers, Ray, Jerry, and Everett Mullins, and five sisters, Bea Addington, Eula Grubb, Janice McClesky, Judy Day, Nona Elkins.

    Mabel is survived by one daughter, Donna Adkins, daughter in law, Donna Tucker, three brothers, Colbert (Louise) Mullins, Jimmy (Anita) Mullins, Russell (Joyce) Mullins, two sisters, Wilma McPeek, Kathy Thacker, three grandchildren, Brad Adkins, Dwayne (Gloria) Browning, Daniel (Diane) Browning, eight grandchildren, Corey, Josh, Jordan, Sadie, Josie, Sarah, Logan, Nathan, one great great grandchild, Lucas, and a host of loving family and friends.

     Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  The funeral will be Friday, Dec. 22, 2023 at 12 Noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Arnold Stewart officiating.  Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
