Mable Benner

Mable Benner age 81 passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at the Pikeville Medical Center.  Mable was born on Sept. 12, 1936 to her parents the late Andrew Jackson Greathouse and Ossie Gibson Greathouse.   She was the wife of the late Paul Benner.  Mable was a retired LPN and Surgery technician from Pikeville Methodist Hospital for over forty years , and a member of the Pleasant Valley Community Church.     Mable is survived by two sons, William Gregory Steele of Pikeville, Paul J. (Trulena) Benner of Pikeville, one brother, James Greathouse of Burleson, Texas, one grandson Israel Joseph (Crystal) Benner of  Tuscon, Arizona one great granddaughter, Jasmine Benner of Tuscon, Arizona, and a  host of loving family and friends.     Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Thursday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Friday, May 4, 2018 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Roy Smith officiating.  Burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park.
