Margaret Louise Belcher

    Margaret Louise Belcher, age 85, passed away Monday, Sept. 23, 2024 at her home in Dorton, Ky.  Margaret was born on Feb. 20, 1939 to her parents the late Bascom Mullins and Beula Mullins.  She was the wife of the late Alfred Belcher, self employed secretary for A.B. Trucking Company, and a member of Pilgrims Rest Old Regular Baptist Church.

     Along with her husband and parents, Margaret was preceded in death by one daughter, Joyce Belcher, two brothers, Charles Mullins, Daniel Mullins, and two sisters, Evelyn Idema and Carolyn Crout.

     Margaret is survived by two daughters, Vicky Belcher White, Janet Belcher Smallwood (Tim), one son, Alfred Belcher Jr.(Lisa), four grandchildren, Rondal (Sarah) White Jr., Justin (Felicia) White, Allie Belcher (Dalton) Cable, Timothy Smallwood Jr., five great grandchildren, Rondal III, Jaxon, Ellie, Addie, & Knox, and one on the way, Alex, and a host of loving family and friends.

      Visitation will be Tuesday and Wednesday at 6p.m.  Church services will be Tuesday and Wednesday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Alfred Belcher Cemetery at Dorton.
