Mary Ethel Anderson

Mary Ethel Anderson, age 77, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at her home.  Mary was born on July 11, 1947 to her parents the late Ovis Virgil Funk and Bonnie Lee Dillion Funk.  She was the wife of the late Raymond Carl Anderson, a homemaker, and a member of the Kimper Church of God.

     Along with her husband and parents, Mary was preceded in death by four brothers, Leonard Ray Kesterson, William Kesterson, Michael Dan Funk, Bobby Kyle Kesterson, and six sisters, Madge Marie Sheldon, Wanda Nadine Dudley, Beula Claudet Hurley, Wilma Ann Bishop, Betty Lou Taylor, and special sister, Stella Williams.

     Mary is survived by one son, Raymond David (Melissa) Anderson, one brother, Paul Randal Funk, two grandchildren, Katelyn Shyann Anderson, Nathan David Anderson, and a host of loving family and friends.

    Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  The funeral will be Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 2p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Robert Coleman officiating.  Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
