Mary Gibson

Mary Gibson, age 72, of Pikeville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022 at her home. Mary was born on Nov. 3, 1950 to her parents the late John Justice and Ruby Derossett Justice. Mary was the wife of Otis Gibson Jr., a retired supervisor for K-Mart, and a member of the Caney Creek Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her parents, Mary was preceded in death by one daughter, Tabitha Gibson, and one brother, John Harold Justice. Along with her husband, Mary is survived by one sister, Kathy Thacker, two brothers, Larry Justice, and Billy Ray Justice, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Thursday and Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022 at 1P.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Morgan Chapman, Eric Fleming, and other freewill baptist ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
