Mary Jo Keene

Mary Jo Keene, age 69, of Pikeville, KY, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024 at her home.  She was born on September, 10, 1954, the daughter of the late, Howard Hall and Ocelene Newman Hall.  She was the wife of the late Eddie Ray Keene, a teachers aide and law office receptionist, and a member of the freewill baptist.  
     Along with her husband and parents, Mary Jo was preceded in death by one daughter, Heather Rene Akers.
     Mary Jo is survived by two sons, Joseph Edward Keene, Shane Allen Akers, one daughter, Misty Shae Gibson, two brothers, Howard Keith Hall, Dr. Ronald Hall, four grandchildren, Quintin Keene, Charlie Wallace, Harley Chaney, Cecilia Marie, and a host of loving family and friends.
     Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Tuesday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at 1 P.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Dr. Ronald Mann and Jimmy Jack Adkins officiating.  Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
