Mickey Johnson

Mickey Johnson, age 84, of Virgie, Ky, passed away at his home on November 16, 2018. Mickey was born on February 3, 1934, in Dorton, Ky to his parents the late Malvray Johnson and Goldia Johnson. Mickey was a retired heavy equipment operator in the coal industry for many years.  Mickey was of the Baptist Faith.  Mickey was the husband of Joyce Johnson.Mickey was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Chester Johnson.Mickey is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Joyce Johnson.  Mickey is survived by three daughters, Karen Bowling (Charles) of Robinson Creek , Angie Sword (Johnny) Caney Creek, Kathy Belhasen of Paintsville.  Survived by three brothers, Billy Joe Johnson( Elouise) , Phillip Johnson (Glenda), William M. Johnson (Jodi), seven sisters, Peggy Braden (Nick), Shirley Owens (O'Dell), Colleen Clay (Jim), Gloria Johns (Barry), Lavonne Tackett (Rodney), Linda Anderson (Gary), Glenda Easterling (Richard).   He is also survived by four grandchildren, Kevin Bowling (Tonya), David Bowling (Angie), Trey Belhasen, Samantha Sword, four great grandchildren, Kennedi Bowling, Karli Bowling, Emma Bowling, Eric Bowling and a host of loving family and friends.Visitation will be Sunday, November 18, 2018, 6:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Church Services will be held Sunday and Monday nights at 7:00 PM. Funeral will be Tuesday, November 20, 2018, 12:00 Noon, at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Kevin Bowling officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery, East Shelbiana.
