Mittie Devon Thacker, age 67, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at her home in Raccoon, KY.  Mittie was born, August 5, 1956, to her parents, the late George Worrix and Mallie Combs Worrix. Mittie is the wife of Bobby R. Thacker,  she was employed by the Pike County Detention Center. and a member of the Community Church of Raccoon, KY.

Along with her parents, Mittie was preceded in death by one daughter, Judith Dawn Deskins, one stepdaughter, Penny Tennille Thacker, and one brother, Donnie Worrix.

Along with her husband, Bobby, Mittie is survived by a stepson Charles Dean Thacker, a son in law Kyle Deskins, one brother, Jimmy Worrix (Misty), and one sister, Wanda Goff.  She is also survived by six grandchildren, Cherish Tennille (Dalton Coleman) Thacker, Charley Dawn Thacker, Malachi Ray Thacker, Aubrey Grace Thacker, Kyle Asher Deskins, and Breelynn Shay Deskins,  and one great granddaughter Kalani Rose Coleman and a host of loving family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday July 19, 2024 beginning at 6pm at the Lucas and Son Funeral home, with church services beginning at 7pm.  Funeral services will be on Saturday July 20, 2024, at 1pm at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Mark Justice and James Hall officiating.  Burial will follow at the Worrix Family Cemetery on Upper Pompey Road.
