Myrtle Rich

Myrtle Rich, age 89, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at her home.  Myrtle was born on March 30, 1929 to her parents the late Lawrence Brewer and Louise Compton Brewer.  Myrtle was the wife of the late Frank Rich, a nurse's aide, and a member of the Pikeville Freewill Baptist Church.     Along with her husband and parents, Myrtle was preceded in death by her second husband, Arthur Gibson, one daughter, Ethel Rich, one son, James F. Rich, and several brothers and sisters.     Myrtle is survived by one son, Timothy (Annette) Rich, three daughters, Rhynettia (Ronald) Martin, Donna (Daniel) Martin, Pamela (Warren) King, one step daughter, Carolyn Adkins, one step son, Daniel Gibson, one sister, Mildred Roberts, sixteen grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.     Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Friday at 7p.m.   The funeral will be Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Jim Patton and Morgan Chapman officiating.   Burial will follow in the Coleman Rich Cemetery at Harold's Branch.
