Nancy Susie Anderson

Nancy Susie Anderson, age 87, of Phyllis, Ky, passed away at the Pikeville Medical Center on  Friday, December 28, 2018. Nancy was born in Pike County, Ky on December 19, 1931, to her parents the late Burlin Chapman and Dolly Honaker Chapman.  Nancy was a cook at the Grapevine School for many years, she did sewing and alterations for everyone. Nancy was member of the Grapevine Women's  Club for many years and was a faithful member of the Phyllis Church of Christ. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Wilson Anderson,  her parents,  two infant brothers, Arnoldlee Chapman, Wade Chapman, four adult brothers, Jeff Chapman, Leeman Chapman, Rush Chapman, Ben Chapman, and  one grandson, Benji Anderson. Nancy is survived by one daughter, Chris Ann Church (Robert), one son, Eugene Anderson. She is survived by one brother, Don Chapman, three sisters, Vada Smith, Lillie Hensley, Ida Beam.  Nancy is also survived by four grandchildren, Bradley Church, Crystal Griffith, Brandon Anderson, Craig Anderson and five great grandchildren, Santana Anderson, Christalyn Pinion, Donaven Griffith, Mason Anderson, Damion Anderson and a host of loving family and friends.   Visitation will be at the Phyllis Church of Christ on Sunday, December 30, 2018 and  Monday, December 31, 2018 with services Monday night at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be at the Phyllis Church of Christ on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at 1:00 PM with Jeff Ramey officiating. Burial will in the Bevins Cemetery at Grapevine, Ky.
