Nancy Jane Funk

     Nancy Jane Funk, age 76, of Phelps, Ky., passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Buchanan General Hospital in Grundy, Va.  Nancy was born on June 8, 1947 to her parents the late Melvin Spencer and Callie Spencer.  She was the wife of the late Michael Dan Funk, a homemaker, and a  member of the Kimper Church of God.

     Along with her husband and parents, Nancy was preceded in death by one son, Clayton Funk, one daughter, Wilma Dotson, three brothers, Homer Spencer, Clarence Spencer, George Spencer, and three sisters, Julie Spencer, Phyllis Spencer, and Nervine Spencer.

     Nancy is survived by three daughters, Sandra (Jeffery) Pugh, Connie Collins, Debra Funk, one sister, Linda Spencer, two brothers, Robert Spencer, Junior Spencer, nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.

     Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Wednesday at 7p.m.   The funeral will be Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024 at 1 P.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Neil Coleman officiating.
