Newcomb Madonna

Madonna Newcomb, age 78, of Elkhorn City, Ky passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2020, at the Pikeville Medical Center. Madonna was born in Pike County, Ky on September 10, 1941 to her parents the late Warren G. Mullins and Elsie Bartley Mullins. Madonna was a retired school teacher from the Pike County Board of Education. She was a member of the Hellier Missionary Baptist Church. She was the wife of Robert Ervin Newcomb. Madonna was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Robert Mullins, and two deceased grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, one son, David (Sherrie) Newcomb, one daughter, Paula Keathley, one brother, Paul Randall Bartley. She is also survived by four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation for Madonna will be Tuesday, August 11, 2020, 6:00 PM with services Tuesday and Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 13, 2020, at 11:00 AM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Randy Bentley and Greg Whitetree officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery, Shelbiana, KY.
