Noma Thacker

Noma Thacker passed away November 15, 2024, at Pikeville Nursing and Rehab. Noma was born Septem 3, 1934 to the Green Conway and Mary Conway. She was the wife of the late Jessie Elzie Thacker, and a homemaker.

Besides her parents and husband, Noma was preceded in death by one son, Reaford Syck, one daughter, Elzie Lavone Thacker, three brothers, Vernon Conway, Ray Conway and Ivan Conway, three sisters, Zadie Coleman, Bertha Conway and Tennessee Conway.

Noma is survived by three sons, Gary Conway, Avery Thacker, Jessie Thacker, four daughters, Myrtle Keens (Syck), Lola Miller (Thacker), Kathy Thacker, Bertha Thacker, and Darcus Thacker, one sister, Maggie Thacker, 40 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 20 great great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday November 16, 2024, at 6:00 PM at Lucas and Son Funeral Home, with visitation continuing throughout Saturday evening.  Funeral Services will be held Sunday November 17, 2024, at Lucas and Son Funeral Home at 2:00 PM. Officiating will be Heiko Giese, of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses.  Burial will follow at the Bevins Cemetery, at Lower Pompey.
