Palmer Lee Pennington

Palmer Lee Pennington, age 82, Passed away on June 26, 2024, at the Pikeville Medical Center.  Palmer was born in Letcher County, Ky on October 6, 1941, to his parents, the late Henry Pennington, and the Late Dora Caudill Pennington. Palmer was the husband of the late Lola Mae Fleming Pennington. He was a retired coal miner at the Scotts Branch Mines, and a carpenter by trade, and a believer in the baptist faith.  Besides his parents, Palmer was preceded in death by his beloved wife Lola Mae Fleming Pennington.

Palmer is survived by Three sons, Henry Pennington (Sherry), Jeff Pennington (Tamara), and Steve Pennington, One daughter Beverly Clark (John), One Sister, Dorothy Tackett, Five Grandchildren, Kayla Mims, Nichole Chapman, Trever Tolsen, Madison Clark, and Bridgett Maynard, Four Great Grandchildren, Skylar Chapman, Harper Tolsen, Thea Tolsen, and Colsen Chapman, and a host of loving family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, June 28, 2024, at 6:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 1:00 PM, at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Jimmy Brown officiating. Burial will follow at the Annie E. Young Cemetery, located at Shelbiana, Ky.
