Paul Rogers

Paul Rogers, age 91, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018 at the Pikeville Medical Center.  Paul was born on August 11, 1927 to his parents the late Jim Loyd Rogers and Bertha Thomas Rogers.  He was the husband of the late Audrey Ray Rogers, retired from Ky West Virginia Gas Company, and a believer of the Old Regular Baptist Faith.      Along with his wife and parents, Paul was preceded in death by three brothers, Emzy Rogers, Offit Rogers and Odell Rogers.      Paul is survived by two sons, Acie Mickel (Gail) Rogers, Tracy Lee (Patti) Rogers, two daughters, Sharon Kay (Larry) Rogers Mollett, Vanessa Gaye (Ralph) Rogers Varney, nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.   Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Thursday and Friday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating.  Burial will follow in the Jack Thomas Cemetery at Left Fork of Island Creek.
