Paul Burton Tackett

Paul Burton Tackett, age 73, of Barboursville, Ky, passed away April 3, 2018, at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.Paul was born in Pike County, Kentucky,  on January 10, 1945, to his parents the late Gordon Tackett and Beatrice Tackett. Paul was a disabled coalminer and of the Holiness Faith. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Billie Francis Yonts Tackett, one son, Paul Dewayne Tackett, two daughters- Debbie Cole and Tammy Jo Gilliam. Paul is also preceded in death by one sister- Wilma L. Hopson, two brothers, Gobel Tackett and Ralph Tackett. Paul is survived by two sons- Gordon Tackett (Betty), Corbett Tackett. Paul is survived by two brothers-Ronnie Tackett (Roberta), James Tackett (Ethel). Paul is survived by several grandchildren-Chad Cole, Brandon Cole, Billy Cole, Charity Tackett, Gordon Tackett, Josh Tackett, Colby Tackett, Jeremy Tackett, Justin Gilliam, Angel Gilliam, Samantha Gilliam, Sheena Tackett, Johndra Tackett, several great grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends.Visitation will be Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM, with Funeral Services starting at 1:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Steve Rice officiating. Burial will follow in the Boyd Cemetery at Price, Ky.
