Pauline Anderson age 91 passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at her home. Pauline was born on April 4, 1927 to her parents the late Rufus Coleman and Carmel Green Coleman. She was the wife of the late Andrew Anderson, a self employed owner of a grocery store/dairy bar, and a believer of the Baptist faith. She also worked as a clerk fork Semet Salvay Company in Henry Clay, Ky, a clerk for Madelyn Otto Sykes Drug Store in Elkhorn City, a clerk for Dawahares Dept. Store, bur the job she enjoyed the most was custodian at the central office of the Pike County Board of Education. Along with her husband and parents, Pauline was preceded in death by two brothers, Kent Douglas Coleman and Walter Coleman. Pauline is survived by two sons, Gary Dean Anderson of Del Rio, Tn., Terry Wayne (Deborah) Anderson of Pikeville, Ky., one sister, Gloria Jean Mullins of Elkhorn City, Ky., two brothers, Jimmy Jack Coleman of Raccoon, Ky., Johnny Lee (Carolyn) Coleman of Marrowbone, Ky., three grandchildren, Gary Wayne (Shelley) Anderson, Joshua Robert Anderson, Ginger Wynette Anderson, three great grandchildren, Ambria Michelle Anderson, Jonathan Adam Anderson, Sarah Nichole Anderson, and a host of loving of family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Sam Crawford officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery at Shelbiana.
