Peggy Ann Adkins Tackett

Peggy Ann Adkins Tackett, age 66 of Mt. Sterling, formerly Pikeville, KY, passed away at her residence on December 7, 2018. Peggy Ann was born in Pike County, Ky. on December 13, 1951, to her parents the late William Adkins and Louise Gilliam Adkins.  Peggy was a member of the Pikeville Freewill Baptist Church. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Drema Marrs, one brother, Danny Zack Adkins, one brother in law, Dean Blair, one niece, Wendy Bray, two nephews, Joshua Morgan, Jason Blair. Peggy Ann is survived by one daughter, Stacey Tackett, one brother, John David Adkins, three sisters, Rhonda (Gary) Thacker, Sharon Blair, Lynn Morgan.  Peggy is survived by two grandchildren, Sheradan Yocum, Baby Kash, a very special child, Abby Wells and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday, December 10, 2018, 6:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Funeral will be Tuesday, December 11, 2018, 2:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Adkins Cemetery at Fords Branch. Family request that donations be made to the Lucas and Son Funeral Home.
