Phyllis Stacy Adams, age 86 of Raccoon, Ky., passed away at her residence on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. Phyllis was born in Pike County, on October 1, 1934, to her parents the late Earl Stacy and Verna Gibson Stacy. Phyllis was a homemaker and a member of the Grassy Freewill Baptist Church. She was the wife of the late Carl Adams. She was an active member of the Pikeville Senior Citizens Center in Pikeville. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, parents, siblings, Helen Rowe, Blake, Doug, Ted Stacy and grandsons Dickie Neal, Tony, Brandon, and Austin. Phyllis is survived by six sons, Earl "Dickie" Adams, Carl Adams JR (Willa), Paul Adams (Tracy), Danny Adams (Annette), Bruce Adams (Tammy), Brian Adams (Kelley), two daughters, Dottie Coleman and Charlene Hopkins. Also survived by one brother, Ray Stacy, and two sisters, Sally Fields and Anna Robinson, 13 grandchildren, Shon (Dottie), Kevin (Dickie), Lindsay Stewart (JR), Jessica Barnett, Courtney Reed, Candace, Emilee and Ian (Paul), Kati Ubelhart and Jessica Barrett (Danny) Zachary (Bruce) Paige and Matthew (Brian). 12 great grandchildren, Layla, Isla, Harper, Carrington, Carson, Isaiah, Hudson, Cora, Aydn, Coleman, Amelia. Phyllis was a very Special Nana to Amelia Vanderventer (Charlene). She leaves behind a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, December 26, 2020, 4:00 PM for family followed by special singing for all at 5:00 PM. Services by the Grassy Freewill Baptist will begin at 6:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held in the chapel on Sunday, December 27, 2020 1:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home, Officiating will be Lester Morris and Ronnie Webb. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery, Shelbiana, Ky.
